How to Beat Stress

Stress is an overwhelming factor in many people’s lives. It makes all daily tasks difficult to handle and your overall well-being downfall. How do you handle daily stess? Some tips recommended are:

  1. Don’t worry about things you can’t control – things happen for a reason and you have to find a way to overcome obstacles that may come in your way.
  2. Solve the little problems – If you have small issues settled out, when real promlems occur you won’t have too much to handle.
  3. Try to look at change as a positive challenge – be open to change for it may be beneficial in the future.
  4. Solve conflicts with other people – resolve and keep away all drama with people for that is a big factor of stress that upsets many people and groups of friends.
  5. Talk to someone you trust – If you are stressed, it is always helpful to talk to a trusted friend. A good friend will help you with your problems!
  6. Set realistic goals – Don’t overload yourself with too much work. Make sure you can handle the things you take on.

If you follow these tips, handling stress will hopefully improve and support a healthier lifestyle!

  1. Hey Jenna! Stress is definitely taking over my life ever since I entered junior year and it is affecting me in bad ways but the tips you gave are great! I need to learn that I shouldn’t stress over things that aren’t in my hands because I always do. So thank you for that! A way I personally handle stress is that I always try to laugh and enjoy life. I always try to be positive. 🙂

  2. Your tips are really helpful. People shouldn’t fuss over things they can’t change and build stress over it, as these issues are usually what annoy people. Sharing your problems with friends always helps. It allows you to vent and to gain insight from other people. 🙂
